Donwload the binary.tar.gz version if you want a simple install and if you only want to use mbux. If you want to make changes to mbux or if you're interested in the source code of mbux you've to download the source.tar.gz version.

The program download includes only one skin: the red skin. If you want to try the other skins you have to download them seperately.
