my postscript cd list
this is a quick overview over my private postscript cd list. i wrote the software 1993 completly in - surprise! - postscript. it may be a little bit strange to use postcript for this purpose but the world is a strange place and i like doing stange things.

all you need is a postscript printer with enough memory. the progam calculates the layout, the index, a nice pie graph, the table of contents, and everything else.

if your printer hasn't enough memory, or you want to preview the list via ghostview, you have to use calc.ps to precalculate the list with ghostscript into an other eps file. see "build" for more information.

a big sorry to those wanting documentation. these files were intended for private use and there is no documentation.

all.ps
all files in one (ready to print)
titles
the ascii or more exact latin1 file containig the raw cd database

book.ps
some basic latexlike macros
calc.ps
macropackage for precalculating with ghostscript. you only need this, if your printer hasn't enough memory or you want to preview the document with ghostview.
cdtitles.ps
specific commands for the cd database
heading.ps
a static postscript heading. just to make your printer, your printer filter and ghostview happy.
pie.ps
a pie macro (see example above)
various.ps
various postscipt basic macros
quick.ps
quicksort by don woods
build
trivial shell script to combine all single postscript files and precalculating eps file
